Successful event planning is something that comes with years of experience, understanding what people want, and, of course, great service. A good event planner takes time to understand their client, reach out to them, and conveyed the personalities and story of the people behind them into a day of celebration and joy.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate these successful planners, and highlight the work they do!

Rubina Tiyu

Rubina Tiyu has 16 years of experience planning wondrous events and weddings. The woman, who founded the company Tied Alliance and acts as their Chief Excellence Officer, has seen her work start from small, cost-efficient weddings and wedding decorations to big, wide scale events that plan to the last detail. Tied Alliance is a result of Rubina’s hard work through the years, combining 4 brands under one company to better tailor to her client’s needs. Her company is full of seasoned, long-time experts, who deliver on every project, from the initial all the way through to the event itself.

Anna Lim

Anna Lim has over 20 years of experience in event consultancy and has navigated all sorts of issues during weddings. The founder and designer of Spellbound Weddings, together with Event Specialists Michelle Lim and Isabelle Cheong, is leading a company that dabbles in wedding planning and design consultancy. The team is relentless in their pursuit of creating weddings that reflect the individual spirit of each couple and are always finding ways to make their dreams come true. Anna has a background in floristry, F&B, and the arts, and thus has the knowledge and expertise to advise on what would work best for your wedding.

Mary Soltysiak

The founder of Estilo and Co is an entrepreneur creating magic with events. Mary Soltysiak founded the company in 2020 to create charming, memorable events. Her company specialises in picnic styling, table styling, and home decor design. Reviews have described the founder as detail-oriented, and stylish, with consistently stunning results and glamour. She believes in creating events that are unique and fun, and no theme is too challenging for the stylist. She also acts as a freelance stylist for vogue and Soho House and has set up the “Ms Soltysiak Table styles” series which is a curated collection of tableware and decorative pieces that’s available to buy or hire for any event.

Lelian Chew

Lelian Chew was a private banker at Goldman Sachs for much of her career before she switched over to wedding and event planning, and today is the founder of The Atelier & Co, which is the parent company of her two businesses, The Wedding Atelier, and The Floral Atelier, all which are focused behind everything a wedding or event would ever need. She caters events and weddings for the ultra-rich of Asia, with tycoons and celebrities under her client list.  Under her leadership, her teams at The Wedding Atelier and The Floral Atelier flourish to make magic out of nothing, and with her experience, no request is ever truly impossible.

All the above planners are women who have taken time and hard work to get to where they are today, and have expertise over events that are memorable, classic, and timeless. As an events management company in Singapore, we salute them during International Women’s Day!
